Granny's gone and done it again

I had beef and noodles, green beans and smashed taters. I diced tomato into the beans.
Sounds good. I picked a couple of tomatoes yesterday. Should have picked sooner... they are pretty much stewed.

Good morning to everyone. I managed to get everyone fed and watered again. I have to consider selling all the chickens except for a few pets and research birds to lesson my walking. I want to keep my White Jersey Giants, Dark Cornish, and Bresse. The rest are easily replaced if I am ever able to care for them again.
I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties, Larry. I've skipped some pages from time to time, are you not well?

Until we moved to the sticks we had one come by most every day in TN. Trucks now are fancy and painted up real nice. Really attracts the kids to them.
We moved to CA when I was 6. Not exactly the sticks, but well out of town on 30 acres, an old homestead in the foothills of the Sonoma Mtns.
Occasionally I see guys in town selling icecream treats out of a pedal cart thingy.

When in school we got salmon cakes often. I liked them a lot but don't know how to make them. One day I'll research it and find out.
We get frozen ones from Costco. Really good and so easy for a quick meal.

Going in Friday for finding out about hips and knees. Hurts in my hips to walk as well as my knees. I really hope it is not a hip replacement. That would have me down for 12 weeks. I would have to trim the size of our flocks way down for my wife to be able to take care of them. She has enough problems packing an oxygen tank around with her as it is.
