Got home and the cleaned, packaged 28 dozen eggs. Than went to my computer and the internet was down, also my phone lines. Wonder what the idiot construction worker did this time.

well my bobcat fixer man did a comparison shop/price list. Bobcat brand parts and aftermarket parts. Hum $1500 + OR under $700. I went with the aftermarket since bobcat is no longer American owned. That's just for the driving/power side of the bobcat. Hasn't gotten to the hydraulic side yet.

I need to grass fatten a steer and split it with a butcher for processing it. If we shrink wrap it that's enough to last me and me wife 3-4 years. Might should do that with a pig at least. We could fatten a pig here on the acorns from all the oaks we have. Might feed them corn with a protein supplement for the last 60 days or so.

The best pork I've ever eaten was grass and acorn fattened.

I have over 2, 5 quart ice cream buckets of stage one tomato sauce in the garage fridge , Need to do one more small batch of maters and then mix everything together and taste test and adjust until I like it. Then can it up for the year.
