I have "woke up" in so many strange places. One of my mother's childhood friends had the type of diabetes that was from low sugar. That may be type 1. Might be called juvenile diabetes. Head is not focusing good right now but any hoot that friend was almost gone one day when she stopped at his station for gas. He was there alone and she got a coca cola in him and he recovered. A few more minutes and I would never had met him.
Roberts sugar is oh so very high. I am afraid for him. He wont check it but his a1c is always above 10My MIL's little brother died of diabetes. My DH thinks he might have been in his 50's. He lived alone in a little house on the property here. Apparently he didn't come up to the big house when he was expected to, someone went to check on him and found him in a diabetic coma. They took him to the hospital but he died there. It's nothing to mess around with for sure.
I have lost 20 lbs recently. I think thats what turned mine back.I got so tired of the finger sticks all during the day but I worked at it and got my A1C below 5.5 finally. It was 5.8 I think this last time and if it has come up more I've got to make instant changes to my sweet tooth.
I need to lose 20-30 for the sake of my back. Speaking of back it's time to get pain and sleep meds together for the night. I'm working on getting my trays to work for me again.I have lost 20 lbs recently. I think thats what turned mine back.
