The pad is above the dew claw.

Not all dogs have carpal pads on their hind legs, but most do have them on their front legs. You can easily spot them if you know where to find them and what you are looking for.

Apparently, they help with braking and turning at high speeds.

Feels like 50° last time i looked. Supposed to be around 65° tomorrow. I need more mulch for the flower garden. Only one bag left.
. Tomorrow i plan to go to Danville and load up the kiln, maybe two.
