It's to late for us to have another basement unless it had an elevator.she sleeps in her finished basement I guess
same, I cant do stepsIt's to late for us to have another basement unless it had an elevator.
The reason our bedroom is 60 degrees, Larry, is bc of the AC. It's set for 73 upstairs, and the basement, where our room is, is always about ten degrees cooler than that. My DH's metabolism is such that he needs the house to be pretty cool. Mine is just the opposite, I'm always cold! We are thermodynamically incompatible. The decade plus I lived in NW MO we never got 60 degree nights in the hot summers. No AC.
We got both extreme heat in the summers and another ice age in the winters. Triple digit summers and sub zero winters. The reason our bedroom is 60 degrees, Larry, is bc of the AC. I don't know what decade you lived here, and NW may be much cooler than SE MO, but this past summer we were very much in the upper 90's on the mercury, and well into triple digits on the "feels-like" scale, for WEEKS! This, they tell us, is our new normal. We have very high humidity down here.
try saying that 3xs fast!thermodynamically incompatible.![]()
