Granny's gone and done it again

We just had some excitement. SIL called, remember she and BIL built house a stone's throw away. BIL heard our chickens raising a ruckus (we hear nothing down here in the basement) so we went out to count beaks and see what's up. Possum in the hen house, is what! :eek: He wasn't doing anything at the moment except trying to sleep in the poop tray (he said) but the girls didn't want him crashing their pajama party. So we called BIL and asked him to bring his, er, communicator, and explain to Mr P that he was not welcome. He brought over a gizmo that looked like a prop for MIB but he said it was a .22 caliber and explained things to Mr P succinctly and effectively. And also permanently. The girls won't be bothered by him again. We thought at one point that 3 girls were missing already but they had just jammed themselves into a tiny little corner, poor things. We got everybody calmed down for the night. All is well.

This isn't the delay I expected. The next 6 weeks I sleep in this chair across from where my wife sleeps in hers. Chores where going along fine until something tripped me up and I fell and broke 2 ribs. Pain meds not doing much good. l sure like a catalyst to kick them up a notch. I have made one call to see what kind of manual help I can get for chickens and will call a neighbor about his help for a few days. I can attest to the fact that an 8" diameter piece of fire wood does no fit between 2 ribs. No other injury except for my pride in front of my lover girl white giant pullets that I've been getting hugs from every night. They saw it all go down literally. Have a good evening. I'll be fading away as the meds thay gave memworkl onnthle pain.

this happened today? Did you go to er? Im so sorry your hurting.
 
I fell about 4pm as I was starting chores. Went to ER added to my my pain pillls. xrayers say 2 broke ribs. I think on more ribs bruised. Hard remelm berins what dog said. My wife as papers. gave me meds that are confusing me bout everythings. I really fell bad. hards. I lw;ood died if my headl lhad hit that hard.
