Granny's gone and done it again

I will be taking care of my DH chickens for the next couple months. He is having a knee replacement.
My wife has had 3 knee replacements. I think the left knee has been done twice. We were shocked to find that those replacements don't always last as long as the originals.

would it lower to knee high so it can be sit on an allow room to turn over onto the good side that is not damaged? I have trouble breathing on my back and normally sleep on my right side wearing a CPAP. My right side is the beat up side and now It's the left side I can lay on. Moving this old worn out carcass is just a pain even without broken ribs. A hospital bed would be easier i some ways but not a total solution. I think we will call about one come Monday. It can't hurt to try if it is covered.

Edit. Now granny don't you go breaking a rib just to understand....
Maybe a lift chair would be better?

I guess God had another plan.
Maybe so but I'm not about to blame God for my not being careful enough when I knew I was in a bad place to be in. It was a real hazard where I was. I still felt the need to rescue a pullet rather than chance her getting taken by a predator.

Yes. I've been thinking about going over to Dothan and hitting all he thrift stores. My mom got a very good lift chair like new for $90. My brother got her another one for her to use at his house. The problem still is when I extend the chair I'm on my back and I can't sleep on my back and can't turn on my side in a lift chair either. A lift chair still would make it a lot easier to got from sitting to standing.
