Granny's gone and done it again

Oh man. I'm so scared that's what I'm heading for. I don't want to be a bother to my kids. :(
Man you guys talk a lot! I'm about 30 pages behind but I'll catch up later.

What, Cynthia, weren't your kids a bother to you for about 18 years each? What's that? Oh, they were no bother, they were your kids and you loved them. Of course! And you will be no "bother" to them either when it's their turn to look after you, or make sure you are taken care of when the time comes.

My wound care nurse specialist that shares my bed keeps me on the straight and narrow. I'm really upset that she is out taking care of my jobs in the coops now.
Bones generally take about six weeks to heal, don't they? Ribs maybe longer bc they are constantly moving. Follow that good nurse's advice so they heal as fast as possible, Larry. Even if that means letting her do your chores. You'll be sorry if you have a setback, or worse yet if you fall again!

Yes. I've been thinking about going over to Dothan and hitting all he thrift stores. My mom got a very good lift chair like new for $90. My brother got her another one for her to use at his house. The problem still is when I extend the chair I'm on my back and I can't sleep on my back and can't turn on my side in a lift chair either. A lift chair still would make it a lot easier to got from sitting to standing.
Tom and I both got ours thru our insurance. The dr. needs to get that ball bouncing

Yes, it's just me. I said that to Austin tonight. Told him I was afraid that knee surgery was a possibility. That I didn't want to to be a bother. He gave me that look. lol.. Like mom! Stop already. I know they'll take care of me. It would be him and Bronwyn to do it. Bronwyn can work from home. But, sad thing happening for her mom next week! Brain surgery to remove a tumor. They say it's benign and in the front, easy to remove. Glad the surgeon feels that way. They let it be this past year. Were going to let it go longer but it's growing too fast. Prayers everyone..prayers. I'm just praying that a good ol shot in the knee will work again for me.

Oh ... and I still don't have my baby chicks. I had them shipped to "General Delivery, Poplar Bluff," a large town about 30 miles from here. I've learned to do it this way bc if I put my home address, it adds an extra day in transit for the chicks, plus the possibility they may get put on the delivery truck and the mail carrier may try to bring them to my house, adding another half day. If they go GD, the PO will call me and I can go pick them up a day early.

Not this time though, bc of the holiday. I probably won't get them till Monday. Three days too late. 😟
