A blender is like a pitcher with blades in the bottom. You can make a milkshake or a smoothie in it. A mixer is a gizmo you hold in your hand that has beaters for mixing up stuff in a bowl, like a cake mix.

well I got both of those then.

I have 5-6 blanks I made up for rolling pins. Walnut and maple alternating layers. No wood lathe and haven't found anyone that turns locally around here yet. I will one day soon I hope.
They are for French style rolling pins.

Have them both with the Kitchen Aid stand machine too. I'd also like the juicer attachment. My grandmother used to gather oranges of the trees beside her house and juice on the Kitchen Aid.

I use the mixer sometimes for a cake. I dont use the other one.
