I have my plan drawn up and will take a trip over to Home Depot for more screws and 24 2x3" x 8' boards if they have them. If not 2x4's. 5 1x6" x 8' too. 15 5 gallon buckets for nest boxes. Stocked with pine straw for nesting materials. Let the games begin. I'm sure the Hooligan crowd of free ranging kids will supervise what we are doing. They always do.

Boy o boy how long were you down? About a week and you are back at it.

I broke the ribs 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I'm moving slow doling out the feed and filling watering fountains. Still taking frequent rest breaks. I never dreamed I could and would be off of the stronger pain meds as quickly as I am. I had a very real fear of catching a cold or getting the flu before I could heal. I have someone next week to do the heavy stuff while I just furnish an extra pair of light duty hand and supervise for the way I want stuff done. It will be another 6-12 weeks before I think I can pickup where I left off.

3 per coup for 8-12 birds. 5 hoop coups with runs protected with high voltage.

My wrapping is done at the store. I only buy one present for my wife and it is those pretty boxes of Cordial Cherries. I only bought her a trolling motor once.

She bakes cookies usually. We don't spend much at all. That just takes all the meaning out of the season for us.

My entire life I've focused on trying to give something that was needed or would at least be a betterment for the receiver. If you want to get burnt out over the holidays work for Walmart from July until February.....
