Ahh..one of those.. I remember when. I lived thise back in the day. They've been around a while. I loved M&M's back then too..they had red ones. Took them away for a while. I'm not sure if they fixed the problem by now.

Good ol November birthdays. Mine was on the 20th. Hope you had a heat day. Didn't eat those candies all in a week!

Had a great day! I was able to stay inside most of the time. Temperature didn't get above 27 degrees today. It's at 14 now with a stiff breeze, real feel is 2 degrees.

Where do you live?

I've decided my chickens have vacationed long enough. I'm starting to add light to both ends of their days and we'll see if we can get them back in production. I'm turning a light on in the hen house at 5 am when I walk Jenny, and turning it off at 7 am. That should give them 14 hours of light.

My baby chicks should arrive Friday.

I had a timer for my girls. Some folks think it's terrible to make them lay through the winter and that it shortens their days of living. I hatched a lot so I was able to sell hens every couple of years..except for my favorite girls. I was literally doing the backyard chicken thing. Was only supposed to have 4 chickens. I know I had 5 most of the time. Sometimes more until I could decide on who to sell. Anyway, I wouldn't have had eggs if I didn't do this. I sold extra eggs and it helped with feed cost.

The higher our age digits go we keep thinking warmer climate.
It's not nearly as enjoyable in this weather.

Austin used to. Still would if he couldn't sleep. Sleep is better for him now.

I just found a shrimp in my fish tank. It looks to be just a light grey color. Weird. Its been years since I bought shrimp and certainly not for this tank and the ones I did buy was either red or blue.

My little red one disappeared.

Oh boy. Bronwyn stayed home to work today. She's starting to get sick. Head cold. She works at home and out. Lucky she can stay at home to work when things come up. I can't believe the money folks can make from working at home!
