Granny's gone and done it again

Good Morning Granny Land. It's cold and I don't wanna go out. We were smart late yesterday afternoon and filled the chickens up on cracked corn and there watering fountains full to the top. By now the ice is melting at 43°. I'll be out soon anyway to let them out to find some grass and maybe a bug or two to top off the layer feed they found in their feeders this morning. Have a safe day all and especially to you that have that white stuff on your roadways.

I'm seriously considering a morning nap so I can work all afternoon today. It's cold now and I hate the idea of not using the warm part of the day to get some needed things done. I need to build some roosts for a coop that was being used as a brooder coop. And then a new brooder coop built for the the little ones in the new indoor brooder now.

I can eat them every day and get gas. Maybe if I did every day for a month it might clean me out of something that ails me inside? :)
My parents and several of my in-laws ate 1/4 cup of beans a day for two months to help with cleaning the colon. They had gas for a week to two weeks and after that it was just normal life. The result of how much better they felt was that they now continue eating beans on a regular basis, not every day, but a few times a week. These are dry beans, cooked whichever way you like them best.

We most always have our dried beans with either a meaty ham bone or just a few slices of the ham for the seasoning. We normally will have some collard greens on the side with some white bacon in them. Cornbread makes the meal.
