Granny's gone and done it again

First thing in the mornings this is what I see in an okra patch:

Okra needs a low nitrogen fertilizer high in phosphate and high in potassium. I have some 5-15-30 and okra thrives with small amount applied as the season moves along. Use no fertilizer until it is a few inches high. Okra doesn't do well where there are nematodes. There is an organic solution to get rid of nematodes. It's actually another nematode that eats the bad nematode. It should be thinned to one plant every foot and the rows 4' apart. Gloves and log sleeves to harvest. From what you have posted this is the best I can do to help get bit of okra growing. It does take some space as it will spread and sucker out.
Why do you need gloves and long sleeves, Larry, do they have thorns or prickles of some kind?

Beautiful blossom, Larry, is that an okra blossom?

@h2oratt , sorry you're sick and hope you're better soon. Are you going to get the Paxlovid?

My Kid is mildly autistic and getting him to eat good food was like pulling teeth! He went off to a Seventh-day Adventist academy three years ago where all the meals are vegetarian and ... it's a miracle! The boy will now eat anything I put in front of him without a murmur or grumble of any kind! Apparently there are two options at every meal: eat it or don't.

My chicks are two weeks old today. I suspect a cockerel among the EEs. It may not show up here, but I think I see a faint reddish tinge on his shoulders; he's bigger than any of the others, and he stands up a little taller than everyone else, like "the Fonz." And yes, I'm talking about the light-colored fella on the left in this pic. What think ye all?

It's and okra blossom. I can pick in short sleeves and bare handed. Okra has spines on it that will make some people itch like they have rolled in nettles.
