Check it lady. Make sure you keep an eye on things and take care of you. Infections can wreak havoc on a lot of things.

Falls are not easy to deal with. Maybe you should carry a cane? Hope you can recover quickly.

I have a cane some where. Can't be found. Even if found it's impossible to use it inside the coops wading through a flock of hens wanting to know what you have for them.

Yes. She almost sounds like she has something caught in her throat. Does that sound respiratory to you, what I described? I'd never heard anything like it, and it's really hard to describe. Almost like a soft honking. DH said it was much quieter after she roosted. All other behavior is normal, eating, drinking, grooming, socializing, activity.

Well, as soon as you enter the door, toss some scratch into a distant part of the coop. Feeders you can fill from outside the coop are helpful too. We don't want you hurt more!

Morning all, slept like a log. Fawn chewed up a pillow waiting on me to let her out. We were testing her to see if she was ready for a bed. Shes not.
