Granny's gone and done it again

Does he have a name Larry?
The rooster? Depending on what he was into he's been called a lot of things. Lately he has been a very nice gentleman. He turned a year old 9/13/23. Right now I don't want to give him a fixed name. If I can pull him through I'll come up with one. I haven't lost any of the roosters from the first two sets of the layer flocks. I've got one that is going to freezer camp from the RIR pen. He's not bad but I can't keep feeding extras. Got to cull more of his brothers too.

Ma's home and we got some yolk balls made with 27% gamebird in him. No shown progress yet but he has enough nutrition in him that he can sit resting and breath until we get more into him in the morning. Dipped his beak in some water and got a little of that in him. Afraid to try and put water down his throat like food. Wrong pipe and it could be fatal. He actually helped us with the little yolk balls. Now it's our turn to eat a bite.
That’s good

It has happened in the past. Not necessarily bad luck but it happens. Easier to bury one that is not named even when attached to. There are 5 more of the boys but this one was my supervisor in the coop when filling feeders. He is an in your face watching every move you make kind of guy.
he sounds comical
