We are going to feed him in the morning by hand those yolk balls until his crop if full. Give him another B Complex, Vitamin E, and any thing else he might need. Hoping against hope that his med is here on time if not early.

dr called in a different antibiotic for me today and said I have to stop 3 of my normal meds before I can start it.

It has happened in the past. Not necessarily bad luck but it happens. Easier to bury one that is not named even when attached to. There are 5 more of the boys but this one was my supervisor in the coop when filling feeders. He is an in your face watching every move you make kind of guy.

If / when he pulls through, will you let us suggest names for you to pick one?

Where those toes go it wouldn't last long. I know chickens like to peck red or any color close to it. RIR chicks got pecked bad by Delaware chicks. Learned that lesson. Don't mix red and white chicks. Those hens will not get that close to him to peck him. He will set them straight quick.

Here's what I did today. Doesn't take much to wear me out, but I was real happy how these came out. Having a digital scale helps make sure they come out uniform. They are in the freezer now until Friday morning. Tomorrow I make 4 pans of cinnamon rolls. Whew!
