it grown out a bit, need a trim and do more highlights lol. The bangs are long enough again to pull it into a pony tail which makes me happy. I like my hair stylist but I don't think she fully know how's to combat my hair due to it sporadic nature. The longer it get it becomes curly, but I also got two cow licks

mine too Ally, straight as a stick . My mom gave me a perm at the tender age of 12. Kids avoided me for a week because of the smell. Never did go straight after that. 

is the smell really that bad.

I cut 24 inches and got highlights, because I never had before. I didn't care for them.

Same with my hair.....Board straight all my life, until a few years ago.
I hate it.

Messy buns saved my hair lol if not it would have been short in a blink. It helps that I need to keep my hair up at work so I avoid the crawlers.

yea mine don't show until it shaven short with a 4

It drives me up the wall lmao. I like doing the mock "man bun" look because I can have it long and short at the same time, plus with my hair so thick it feels like a regular bob when I have it part in the middle.
