Granny's gone and done it again

Granny turn the heat down on the spam and cook it slower. I bet you can slice it, wrap it in paper towels and put it in the microwave for 45 seconds. More or less depending on how thick you slice it. You don't have to use a high heat and make it pop like it will if the burner is to high. Try it and see. My grandfather and one of my wife's aunts loved spam. When I'm less medicated I'll post a spam story that took place during WWII during the Great Depression. I may get a can tomorrow just for old times sake. We usually get a can of corned beef 4-6 times a year and cook a head of cabbage with it. Have 3 heads of cabbage in the extra refrigerator that was about half the regular price and we need to finish using them before they can go bad. I think we still have some of the link Hillshire Farm sausage that is either beef or kielbasa to stir fry with a cabbage, carrots, some onion and what ever else ma needs to use up. I'd like a couple of jalapenos in a big pot. She can eat it easily if she only puts one pod in a big big pan full. She has a 16" electric Stainless Steel skillet that cooks enough at once for 3 meals. I'm going to instigate for a stir fry with cabbage and one with pineapple and sweet potato with a dab of brown sugar with some link sausage.

Ok Granny let us know about how the spam situation worked out. Inquiring minds want to know. It's an hour past my bedtime so I'll find out tomorrow. I will have to get a couple of cans at Aldi's tomorrow to test out my theories. I think we can slice it a 1/4" thick and nuke it for 45 seconds and cut the slices into squares and put it on some good biscuits along with a fried egg and that would be a good breakfast that I can eat without putting my denture in. I've lost enough weight they don't fit very good anymore even with denture glue.
