Well they are semi ready. Ma is doing some more advanced cleaning on the water trays now. Eggs will have to be loaded sometime tomorrow. I can't take a chance on problems due to bacteria in an incubator. To tires to do a good job tonight.

I used to set mine out in the sun for a few hrs after the cleaning.

No. No need to with as many hens as we have. Going to can some chicken.

We have hens that lay well during the winter. Not as well as during the summer but they keep us in more eggs than we can eat. We boil and scramble eggs and feed them back to the hens. Hows that for recyling?

I tried canning beef stew once. Every single jar ruined. I didnt do it long enough and I was told electric smooth top stoves just wont get them hot eneough. I spent a small fortune and didnt even get a taste
