Good evening everyone. I finally got some more seed in the ground. 160' give or take of beets and carrots are planted. Will get the row length measured tomorrow for kicks and giggles. We planted what I think are 80' rows. The tape will tell the tale tomorrow if I can still walk. 160' of beets at 3 beets average per foot is 480 beets. Should last us a year. 4 carrots per foot is 640 carrots. Being Buggs Bunny is in CA we should have a few extra. Looks like the rain may miss us tonight and if it does sweet corn goes in tomorrow.

Saw a baby fish in the tank..outside of the box I have the one I think is ready to pop. It must have gone up instead of down into the bottom part. You'll see the pregnant fish in the photos I'm sharing. These frogs Crack me up sometimes. He was just chilling in the plants, then squished between the glass and box.

Afraid not. No sign of him. His buddy that he bunked with will not go back to the coop on his own. I have to carry him back and put him inside and close the door or he will not stay in the coop. I think he remembers something bad happening.

I'm hoping our cold weather is over with so I can get the field peas planted soon along with beans. We like to fix beans with new potatoes in them with a ham hock. Potatoes are up and looking good. Onions are looking good too.
