Granny as a kid I couldn't stand mustard greens but now love them along with collard and turnip greens. If the beets come up I want to try eating the greens from them. When they get thinned we will cook some of the tops then.

Not today. Resting a lot. Only work will be loading a couple dozen 2x4's at Lowes this after noon and then unloading them so we can build a large grow out and sales coop for pullets.

I'm trying to put clapping hands emoji here but bad connection due to rain. Has been raining here since last night. Cold and VERY windy, too. Had very little winter all winter. Now it's Spring and Winter shows up!

I've eaten my share of field corn. We always picked it young before it got tough. It filled a hungry stomach.
