We just got back inside after playing musical coops tonight. Catching 4 fryers out of a run was harder than taking 7 big boys out off a coop with a roost bar. Did I say big? Big New Hampshire boys (3) 1 Red Ranger, 1 Black Sex Link, 1 RIR, and 1 White Giant. Hoping to process the fryers Wednesday. Grilled chicken on the Weber is coming soon. All 4 of the fryers are White American Bresse. Never have eaten this breed before.

Expecting 40-45 and maybe more to be hatching next weekend.

I just had the worse hatch ever. One chick had organs hanging out. Got blood all over eggs, the incubator, it was a mess.
