There is a very likelihood I'll crash and burn early tonight in spite of a good nap. I've been tired since we came in from manual labor last night. All I've done to day is work with feeding and watering the chickens and adding one twine layer to the tomato row. I was afraid just one more storm and they would have been wrecked real good. It was hard catching them dry enough to work with.

I remember the first salmon run of the ones that got introduced into Lake Michigan. They were coming from the lake into the river mouth at one place and the lake had many small tin boats with people fishing close to the shoreline when a storm came up and killed so many people because they were to busy catching fish to see the clouds developing. Large tsunami type waves picked up them and there boats and crashed them on to the shore. I've tried to find an old news article of this but only people 70 or more will remember this day.

The salmon sure did clean up the invasive species out of Lake Michigan. I remember what they were called but not how to spell it.

Ive been reading about Coos Bay Or. where Star is moving to. It sounds like a really nice place to live. They are lucky to have found a place to live. Hardly anyone wants to sell there. Weed laws are pretty relaxed too. Just walk into a store and buy what you want. lol
