I was making $8 something back in 1993 or 96 last time I worked in an office. My 18-yo son started in the construction trades that year making about $18. Discouraging.

They have a couple of things I really like and some I don't. Don't like cold grilled chicken on a salad. I to love their lemonade made with Splenda.

Min wage is 7.25 an hour in AL too. It pays to learn a trade and get a skill set for go for a professional degree as in Law or Accounting or Medicine.
