We stopped awhile back on the way home from seeing our out of town specialist at a Sonic. A cheap meal was $20 or so each. We backed out and drove off with out ordering anything. I wanted a jalapeno burger but I'll make it at home for far less and make it better and bigger.

It’s amazing how many states have $7.25 as the min wage still. More than I thought.

I remember when there were some inexpensive steak chains with indoor dining and they had a small steak dinner for about $6 and it was a hit with seniors who didn't have big appetites and wallets. Think they are all gone now. Bonanza, Ponderosa, etc.
