I couldn't take that. Made me sick to the stomach big time. Most pain pills do now..or..so woozy I get close to passing out. Had my shoulder done without pain pills. Just ice.

Sometimes it makes me sick too but of course theres a pill for that too

yum and I dont any of those. I meant to buy olives for my cream cheese and crackers and forgot.

I take 7.5/325 percocets 3xs a day. Its what Im allowed and what I take. It doesnt really help alot any more. The biggest problem with that is when I fall and have extra pain I dont get any extra pain meds. Its like taking nothing for it.

I've been down that road and got off of them as they didn't help. The doc was trying to get to where he could do spinal epidurals but just couldn't get there. His small office I imagine just couldn't raise the $$'s for the high tech equipment required. I just will not go back on the stronger stuff as it only works for so long. Those pills all were designed to get over an injury or surgery. They are supposed to be a temporary solution. When and if I get a new shoulder(s) and hips I'll need them then and I want them to work. I wish they could make a pill that never stopped working no matter how long you had to be on it for conditions that will never heal. Like my herniated disks. Arthritis in joints that are bone on bone like my hips. If I can lose another 20 lbs I should be able to get new hips and have ins approve of the surgery.

Good evening peeps. As usual I got inside right at dark. I think we can finish the corn in a couple of hours in the morning and then make a short trip and pick up oxygen tanks for Ma. She is still on a list for a portable concentrator. Our forecast for the high Saturday is 101°. I'll have to go out after daylight and make sure all watering stations are full and then at about 1pm do it again and put ice in them. That will not be hard as I can put ice in the big cooler and make the rounds with the JD with the cooler in the cart. I sure enough will not be walking.
