Forgot to tell y'all, the bulb blew out in the brooder yesterday. I knew about it, but forgot. It stormed a bit last night as a front came in. I got up early so I could lock up the coop to catch the honas and the brooder was dark and quiet.
Those bigger chicks had pushed the smaller ones into the corner closest to the honas (they still had a bulb) and were keeping them warm. I was afraid some would have smothered, but as they started to warm up and spread out they were all alive. It was in the low 50s last night.
