Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning, Granny. Humidity only 74% snd I feel much better today. My DD and SIL have weathered Beryl's landfall fairly well. She just told me they lost their fence and a couple of trees are down. Their windows leaked so they were wringing out towels through the night and they lost power but she says it's not raining any more and the wind has died down. Thanking God they are okay.

Great news Blue! Im glad your feeling better too. Did your dd post any pictures?
Yes, this:

Home grown peas are the best, but if I'm bringing any home from the store, I really like those field peas and snaps. I don't know how available they are around the country. Our local grocer sells a store brand that are very near delicious.

My favorite of the cowpea family are purple hulled peas, which are usually a creamy white, or the pink purple hulled peas, which, as the name implies, are pink.

Those are good eating!
The Pick Sweet brand usually have a good product. We can get them at our IGA but I have also seen them at Kroger. Welcome to the thread! We have a good bunch of people.

Make banana bread? Hubby buys a couple bunches of bananas a week as he eats at least two a day. I'll sometimes have half of one on a bowl of cereal. The parrots love them so they each get half of one a few times a week.

This is Sophie in my old house many years ago.
