Granny's gone and done it again

I spent half the day getting new auto/home insurance quote. We have state farm and since April our account doesn't show our 2 vehicles. Everything is messed up. I saw they are ending some home insurance in California. I wonder if they are having financial problems. Can't even update the home insurance. Progressive will do 'apples to apples' for $100 a month less

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this — the last battle — can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close — we two — these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

@Cynthia12 I am sorry for your loss. Yes, I know the pain. I have had to do this a couple times thru the years with my beloved pets. They were a part of my family and a part of me left with them. Shadow I had for around 18 yrs. and My Star for at least 12. I miss them still but I know I did the right thing just as you have. Roberts therapy cat Dipskit we had for 12 I believe Hard to remember now.
The tail part..we said her tail waved like a flag.
Thank you. Beautiful. I've not read this one. 💙

I thought that she had been injured by a rooster but that was not the case. Her coop mates were injured but not the silkie. My best guess is that she ate something out free ranging that was to toxic for her. I've pulled every nightshade plant I can find and destroyed them where no chicken could get to them. She may have eaten to many tomato leaves. But most of the chickens eat tomatoes and leaves when they get into the area where the tomatoes are without a problem. I found 2 of the small Cornish pullets late today that are underweight like the silkie was when I found her. All the others are lively and full of vinegar. She is terribly missed as she always let me pick her up and hug on her like a puppy.
💓 Hugs.. 💗

Sometimes. I have to take PT before I can get epidurals. PT will never fix herniated disks. I've had the therapy by several different PT's in different states and none have helped.
My Dad had unsuccessful surgery for a herniated disc when I was real little. He had the second surgery but couldn't farm again till my brother was out of school

At least I have I believe 3 of Honey's daughters and I know 3 of her sons. I lost her mate to a predator. Presumed fox. It was supposed to be the last night he was roosting free. Honey was setting in a kennel when we lost him.
Do you worm them and check for bugs? Thats how I found a few skinny ones.
