Granny's gone and done it again

I just hope now I can get Sophie healed. Reba is 80% healed now. Sophie was smaller when attacked by the gang of rooster in the coop. She has one leg that I don't really understand what I'm dealing with. I've read about slipped tendons and I think that is her problem. I built her a platform chair that she sits in so she has no weight on her legs and can eat and drink as needed. In the evenings she is put on a towel where she can move around some and interact a little with Reba. At night they both sleep in a kiddie pool with some sand and shavings. Reba can stand and eat and drink now. She doesn't stay up to long at a time or walk to far at once. When I brought her in she could not do anything but lay on her side. The get Vit E and B complex and Nutridrench. We have massaged their legs. Now I'm building them a seat that will allow them to sit and soak in warm Epsom salt water.

Your welcome. I hope it brings you a small piece of comfort. :hugs
Had my other two groomed today. I almost canceled, but they need to feel comfortable. It helped seeing them all pretty and handsome again. Prices are going up 10 dollars more come next month. Hmm.. May check out other mobile prices. This would be 70 each dog. 😒

I spent half the day getting new auto/home insurance quote. We have state farm and since April our account doesn't show our 2 vehicles. Everything is messed up. I saw they are ending some home insurance in California. I wonder if they are having financial problems. Can't even update the home insurance. Progressive will do 'apples to apples' for $100 a month less
A few years ago, we did the switch from American Family to Progressive as they could give me a better policy for way less. Not saying that would be that way for everyone, but it sure was a substantial difference for us!

The only reason I checked into switching was American Family wouldn't give us 1M on our property for while we had men climbing the 125' tower. Progressive wanted to see our policy, and beat them hands down, plus said we could do the 1M for one month if we wanted to.

You're so good to your chickens. They're blessed to have you.

That's who I switched to this year.

I have no idea. Are they being bullied from the food?
No. multiple feeders so no crowding at all. Less than 25 young pullets in a 16x14 coop with free ranging most days. There were about 60 until they got to about 3 months then we split the cockerels and pullets as that is when the trouble started with hormones.

I'll post a couple of photos of me and Gracie. Granny you once posted you didn't see wrinkles on me. They show up here! Here's my sweet little old lady.
