Granny's gone and done it again

Ok, so y'all remember two summers ago when the guineas were gifted to me? The girl who gave them to be was Susan. But EJ couldn't say that, and he called her Too- uh. We taught him to call her Su Su-- Tu tu. So we decided to name the males guineas "Tut" and the females "Tutu." Of course those four were all male, and I only have one left. But now I have a Tutu!

I wanted a few but everyone always told me they were mean

They can go through a really bad violent phase. Mine grew out of it. Having females instead of four cockbirds could've helped. Mine are like sweet little pets, but they've never come after me.

killer had 2 good eggs left. One with an internal pip and the other close so I let her keep those. I marked them. Next nest had 6 getting close and 3 about a week in. I marked the 6 and took the 3. they are in the bator with mine. 2 that had just started so I shook them hard to destroy them. Last nest has 4 also close to hatch. I tossed probably 20 eggs. shaking the new ones and being very careful with the old ones. I marked all the good ones. another dozen on the way.

Not yet. I'm worried she'll jump before the other 8 hatch.

15 more counting the 3 I just put in the bator . That makes killer hatching 23 chicks . I doubt she weighs one lb. Normal size, not from sitting. She still has good weight.

That's crazy! I wish she would just keep them. Wonder what she would do if you just have her 8-9 chicks all at once?

I pull the chicks. Keeps them sitting. If you want her raising them though I would pull the eggs. You can add them back.

Just had a teensy little storm blow through. TONS of lightning, wind, hard rain, and even hail! Sky was scary and green.
