Be very careful what you put in a trust for him. If you weren't here anymore, he would collect SSI to help with living expenses. He would be allowed to have the trust and still collect SSI. HOWEVER, because SSI would pay some of his living expenses, they would govern the trust. SsI would help with his expenses and the trust would be used for things welfare won't cover. I don't mean to throw a wrench in, but out of experience I will tell you that can be a very serious head ache.

I lived there for several years. I recall one one morning leaving for work and I dang near fell on my face when I opened the door because there was no wind pushing it back in.

And I did learn some new terminology. Like what a snirt storm is. That's when the wind picks up the dirt in the farmer's fields and mixes it with snow....snirt.

It's literally where the deer and the antelope play as you can drive for 100 miles and see nothing but fields and them running through them.
