Granny's gone and done it again

When I took care of my sister on SSI..here in Utah if you're on government help..you can't own anything without them taking money out of the check..not even a cemetery plot. If you're getting money from anywhere else..they have to use that first. Wait..they didn't take away a settlement she got from drowning while living at a disability place. Long story..revived by a girl there..not by the people that took her! I was in charge of that money for her. Maybe that's why.
Wow that is pretty harsh, not even a cemetery plot.

You're on a roll this morning, Granny. Both your entries made me LOL! Thanks for the chuckles, I needed it. Finally got my lab results, tested positive for tularemia, a tick-borne illness. Good news is I've already been on the appropriate Rx for a bit, just need to add another 4 days on it. No wonder I've been feeling like cr*p! 😳
It wasn’t from the bite was it?

I came in to cool down. Might as well take a short nap before lunch. Chickens taken care of and mowed the walk path to all the coops. I was thinking about ticks in tall grass and to preventative action. Took no meds this morning. l can't nap all day.

🤷🏼‍♀️ you get tularemia from ticks, not spiders, and dr said what's on my leg is spider bites. I really have no idea why they screened me for tick diseases. But I'm glad they did.

Got the carpet & foam torn out of my kitchen. I can't.clean up water spills and ever since the refrigerator leaked the carpet has wet spots. I found old~original 1900? Tiles underneath. At some point someone put glue on top. The tiles won't tell me their history but I'm cleaning off as best I can. Then letting it dry and I will re-tile it. I'm envisioning a nice new floor...

Can we get pics of the original tiles?

Tan with gray markings. I will get better pictures once I got more cleaned off. It wasn't my intentions to remove the carpet but there was too much water under it. Including by the washer. But the tile is strong. Back in the day they made there stuff army strong!!!
