Cost us $100 to eat at Applebee's last night. Everyone enjoyed their meals but me. I ordered a 6-oz sirloin, med. rare. It was all gristle. I couldn't even cut into it, much less chew it. We had paid for it early because I didn't want to take a chance on having to pay after sunset, so by the time I realized what it was, it was too late to get comped for the meal. But the manager had the kitchen make me a new one instead. I haven't tried it yet, I'll hopefully have it for lunch tomorrow. I hope it's better! We're usually real happy with the food there.

Heard! GC wants all the cats, the "house cats" that live at the vet clinic.

This reminded me of the day my mother was sitting outside and watching her brother put the finishing touch on is outside dining area for having bbq's. My mother in her loudest voice possible calls out "Kirk now that you have finished your dog house are you going to build Mae a Cat House?"
