I take Isosorbide which is sort of like a long acting nitro I think. No effects from it that are bad. When I take the fast acting nitro I can get a short lived headache. Why did they change your med then if the other was working?

The med is long acting nitro Larry. #1 side effect is the headache. I don't think I need something that strong. As far as I can tell its nothing like what I was on. Renexa
Flexaril knocks me out pretty hard and I rarely take it.

I have Nitro for immediate chest pain relief. Man, instant headache after I use it!

Dr gave me renexa because I could feel my heart beating too fast or skipping beats. One pill helped some and a second did away with it

Ouch! DH has had some broken up. He used to get them every 3 months on the dot. Until a nurse told me to put a couple squirts lemon in his water to dissolve the sludge in the kidneys. It worked well. The Dr also said no ginger ale because the caramel color causes stones. The last while he's been drinking ginger ale again.

Yeah, hubby makes a lemon juice drink and has it daily.

Hey all, Im tired. Flexaril for the win. My butt is bleeding from the skin breaking down. Hurts. Started new heart meds today. gave me a severe headache. Don't think I will take them again. Tom decided to go to his bed tonight. I hope he does well there. Wondering if I could get in mine. SD staying the night then leaving in the AM?

If your skin is breaking down from loose stool, put Vaseline there to protect it , and to be more comfortable.

Good morning Granny Land. We will be leaving soon for a Home Depot & Walmart run with a stop at the farmers market first. Need some fresh peaches and hardware items. I also need to restock cranberry juice. I haven't had good lemonade in a long time so a few cans of concentrate lemonade may come home with us too. I don't care for the artificial powder mixes.

I'm thinking she meant from ..butt cheeks.
Granny, when you've sat a while on those..or you know you'll be sitting for a while, make sure you shift your weight from one cheeky to another, and shift back and forth intermediately. This is what folks like my Richard that sits in a wheelchair has to do to keep from getting sores. Plus, you could very well get a pilonidal cyst. No fun at all. Hard to heal. So, do some shifting throughout the day as you are stuck sitting.

Good afternoon!!!! I went to the club today. I got some crayons and drew Brewster with a ball as well as a sailboat LOL I also wrote in my logs and made a list of things I like about myself. It’s a small list, only 4 things, but better than ZERO things!!! LOL I am on my way home now. I also walked Brew this morning and might walk him again this afternoon.
