Granny's gone and done it again

This is what the cockerel I trimmed the beak on looked before. After trimming a bit, waiting for quick to recede, trimming some more, and then letting him file the rest down himself on rough rocks, it's normal again.

this reminds me of the movie Roxanne w/ Steve martin.

4 eggs: one external, one internal, one not ready, and one late quitter. Still has small veins, so I left it. I might give the not ready to the other broody. Flapjack needs to feed her babies tomorrow.

late quitter still had veins ?  I was giving baby some gatoraid. Its taking it a drop from my finger then pecking at the air.  Dont sound/look right  staying upright trying to walk. other babys are mean to it.

Small veins, but no movement. Looks internally pipped, air cell is dipped and wonky. I tapped it a few times, no reaction.

Yes I own a dremel with the little sanding barrels, but my wife thought it would be stressful on the too

he's very thin for 6 months, any other suggestions
I think dremel is the way to go for sure. I have heard it cauterizes as it grinds. BUT you already took off all you can for now. Poli-vi-sol for children would help him . Make sure there is NO iron in them because it is toxic to chickens.
Scrambled eggs would be great too.
