I've been using Truvia/ stevia for several months now. I can't taste the difference from sugar. I switched from Truvia to stevia bc of the cost. I carry packets in my purse. At restaurants I order unsweet iced tea and use it to sweeten the tea. It dissolves much better than sugar in the cold tea, and there is no chemical bitterness or aftertaste. Those other sweeteners are about six times sweeter than sugar and very hard to use.Ive never tasted fake sugar. I guess I'd rather not.

We've used a lot of Truvia in the past and like it in tea and anything that is served cold. Never tried baking or making jelly with it yet but will.Truvia / stevia also makes a cooking/ baking version that's one-for-one.
