Would vac is when they put sponge in the wound, insert the tip of a hose and seal everything with special tape. Other end of hose is in a small machine that is in a small back pack that you carry with you. It sucks out anything that drains into the sponge material. They do that for large areas that are hard to heal or can't be stitched shut. Also for diabetics. It heals allot faster. A visiting nurse would replace everything about twice a week

I don't know if it will help or if you've tried it, but Bayer makes one which has caffeine in it. It's supposed to enhance the effect of the aspirin and has good reviews for arthritis.
