Thanks, Larry. GC and I have been in town all day running errands so have not seen a forecast since this morning. Did see a "wind advisory" for our home area, checked it out and winds were blowing ... 8 mph. Not a typo. Wind advisory for Eight mph winds. Go figure. That's barely a brisk breeze!

Light rain here all day and then sunny for a few days with just warm and mild temps. Low to mid 80's. Purple hull peas will do well and produce a lot to shell if I get the aphids under control. Rain here is falling straight down. Almost zero wind.

I'm trying. Not easy planning for egg production drugged up.... This is the worst the anesthesia has ever done me. But it is also the first time having it and max dose of 3 other meds too. It should be a lot easier to think tomorrow.

Update on Larry, in case you were worried. He is still feeling the effects of the anesthesia from yesterday so I'm letting him sleep. He will be on here later when he feels better.

Thank you for the update. I took a long nap myself.

I am up and have eaten a meal. That is if you call two hot dogs wrapped in small tortillas a meal. Left leg is a mess but I'm hobbling around inside. All the things I was wanting to do today just hit file 13. Not sane enough now to even do important computer spreadsheet stuff for cash flow planning. Starting to think more downsizing now by combining some of the small flocks into one after some of each are sold off or even given to some local needy neighbors. There will always be a flock of roosters that can run wild during the day and roost together at night. I think three dozen layers in two coops will suffice all of the egg needs for ourselves, families, and needy people.

No need of even planning right now. No decision making for 48 hrs at least.
