Storm is supposed to hit us hard tomorrow. I sure hope not. That's a good drive to where we are going. I wish they were knocking me out. I don't know how I am gonna lay flat.

I talked to a sister in Brooksville Fl. She said the storm wasn't done with them yet.

As for the hurricane it is now showing to only run through GA after it clears the FL panhandle east of us. None of the actual hurricane is forecast to come through the most eastern part of AL. We are well clear of it but have some family and friends that are going to get clobbered. Last year they were clobbered so this makes two years in a row for them. Their cleanup shouldn't be as bad this year as older and weaker trees were downed last year. I need more rest. BBL

I'm trying. Not easy planning for egg production drugged up.... This is the worst the anesthesia has ever done me. But it is also the first time having it and max dose of 3 other meds too. It should be a lot easier to think tomorrow.

Nothing in a shopping cart here. Just using a spreadsheet to see just how few hens I need to take care of families of ours near us that help with the farm and a few places in town that we deliver to with out adding any more than that. Looks to me like the numbers based on rate of lay show that we need 15 more Sapphire Gems to take care of present needs. The only thing that we will be hatching to sell will be eggs from the Saipans. They can be sold at the livestock auction if not from local flyers. I'm truly in love with the Sapphire Gems. Never have we had such gentle friendly birds as young as these 5 are now.
