Granny's gone and done it again

Every time we buy pullets for layers they automatically become pets for life. When they are old they are not required to lay a single egg. People that don't have chickens would never understand that but I know they keep dogs and cats that don't give them anything to eat ever.

I played in to many tight places as a kid playing Hide and Go Seek to ever get claustrophobic.

He wasnt like that when he was younger. Now he drives in the middle when crossing a bridge or his feet get spongy.

Granny the storm and depression it turns into takes a left turn before getting to you so it seems as of now.

I always love driving the 7 mile bridge down in the FL keys. So beautiful looking at the Gulf on one side and the Atlantic on the other.

I wish I could keep my hens till they live out their natural lives, but I can't. I have to make room for more layers. My space is limited. But they still become part of me forever.
