Good evening every one. Been a busy day but finally got caught up. Pick peas, watered peach trees before they go dormant for the winter. 42° here in the morning. Just 3° from a potential for frost. Picked the okra and got another meal from it. Made a run for Ma's oxygen. Stopped at Walmart for a few items that were needed. Came home and took a good nap after lunch.

Need to feed Sophie again. She is still being fed with an eye dropper. She is much better but is healing up slowly. Not sure now what her problem really is.

What food do you use to hide pills so Brew takes them

I don’t have to give him pills very often and when I do, he knows when they’re wrapped in something and still spits them out. Little B word hahahaha so I usually just shove them down his throat now. Unfortunately. I haven’t found any food that works for him. Maybe pill pockets or meatballs?

There was a big frost on the ground here this morning. I haven't been out today

As soon as we get a couple of good frosts I can prune and retrellis our muscadine so it will produce more and larger grapes this coming season.

I bought the pill pockets before. Dogs wouldn't touch them. I fold the pills in a slice of cheese and give the first bite w/o pills then they swallow the next one down

We're expecting our first frost tomorrow but it should be in the 70's later in the day, and maybe 80's later in the week.

I want to lose 30 more eventually.

Lol, same! Or at least 20 and thrn go from there.

I wrap Sammy's in cheese. I've always been able to pill a dog pretty well but he spits them out, it seems no matter how far down his gullet I shove them! But he would swallow an anvil if I wrapped it in cheese, lol.

Sophie has wallowed her out a nest and is asleep. Going to wait to feed her a little later.
