Granny's gone and done it again

Maybe he should. You can get just about anything from there and he might save on the shipping. Worth looking into anyway. I shop there a lot.
I didn't do a lot of shopping, but every time my shoes get holes, I but a new pair🤣. But I can see myself buying non perishable groceries online. We very few shops less then 20 miles away

WM used to carry Ranch Style beans but they don't any more. So I get those from Amazon by the 12-pack. I get some of my cleaning supplies from them too. Recently I got a pressure cooker. And just the other day I got a chain-link gate for my dog pen. I've got Prid on order ... I forget what else. And I'm going to order a tortilla press.

That's a good way to build credit, I think. We'll probably have GC do that. And The Kid, too. He's so much smarter about money than she is.

After more than 7 years of nothing on my credit report it was basically reset as if I had no credit history...
So 5 years ago I got a card from Capital One which is a Secured Card. It was easy to get and you put a deposit down... you choose, between $100 - $300. Whatever amount you choose they match it... So a $100 deposit card turns into a $200 Credit limit. And the limit never goes above $600 no matter how long you have the card.
It worked well and it comes with some of the big bank perks, like if using it to rent a car it has free rental insurance.

We also got fed up with our local banks and the slow computer systems that never tell you the actual balance in real time and added fees. So we both opened checking accounts with Capital One as well. It's much quicker and totally free, no overdrafts because the system doesn't allow anything over.
The only pain with it is no brick & mortar locations... so to deposit cash we go to the pharmacy, bring up a barcode on the phone from the banking app and hand the cashier the funds. And checks can be instantly scanned in on the phone at home. It's all a bit more tech than I like to be, but it is nice how linked everything is. With the secured card and the checking account both being Capital One, it's just one account to sign into and they both show up on the main page. I later got an actual credit card with them as well. Paying the cards with their own checking account system makes it show up instantly.

Anyway, just putting it out there, there are options.

The crazy neighbors Halloween decorations are making maniac noises and the puppies are barking. Almost midnight. Guess we will sleep with a Cd player to drown then out
No noise ordinances where you are? Can't call the police? Or ... not safe to do so?
