Granny's gone and done it again

My big accomplishment for the day besides doing 3 loads of laundry and sweeping up two dustpans full of cat hair (why do they shed ALL year? they are worse than the cattle dogs) was baking a pineapple/angel food cake. For anybody who's never discovered this almost guilt free recipe, it's simple. An angel food cake mix mixed with a can of crushed pineapple, mix it up and pour it into a 13X9 baking dish and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. I like to grease the bottom of the pan lightly although the recipe calls not to. Cool and serve with whipped cream.

Yummo.

Started out cloudy and rainy here this morning. Sun came out and it got up to 62 degrees. Big change from the almost 80 we had yesterday.

Hi, @ShrekDawg. How ya doin?

What’s up!?

Hi, @ShrekDawg. How ya doin?
Good thanks, you!?

I used to make cornbread with pineapple and coconut, it was tasty. I don't have a recipe, just threw it in.
My ribs are feeling much worse. It's very hard to do nothing all day every day.
:hugs sorry, Cap, that stinks. Cornbread sounds good to me, but DH does not like coconut.

Good or bad, you decide. Specialist said there's nothing he can do.
 Nothing??? Did they say why? You just have to live with this pain? That ain't right!

The Asian beetle invasion hit us today. We did some shopping, pulled up to the house, got the groceries in, no problem. Ten minutes later DH's nephew pulled up on his 4 wheeler to pick up a couple pecan tree saplings I told him he could have, and I got attacked when I stepped out the door! The back wall was covered with these stinking, biting nightmares cleverly disguised as ladybug beetles. I immediately came in, mixed up a batch of my lemon oil battle juice and began spraying like crazy. I've sprayed the back porch windows inside and out, the side windows inside, the front windows and front door inside and out, and the living room ceiling. I'm beat! But ... I'm winning! There are hardly any of these buggers left. Except possibly in my nightmares tonight.
