I used to be that way. It bothered me if the house wasn't spotless, food was prepared and served elegantly and everyone was happy. I have gotten over that! Now if you don't like the way my house looks feel free to clean it. If you don't like the food, feel free to bring something else or pay for us to go out. My give a da... bone is broken! LOL

I know. Growing up, we hosted lots of people, and had youth parties for the night and always had lots of fun. Sleeping out in the meadow with visits from the horses just added to the fun. DH family and friends grew up on the other end of the spectrum. His family doesn't come to our house but when we go to their house we are treated with eloquence. His childhood friend wants to come for several nights and he would never be nasty about our house. Never.But he also treats us very, very well when we visit him. It means allot that he would come and I would want to make his stay special as well.
It would help if we would have company more often. When you sell things online-the workshop is the living room and you have puppies running around, the whole house becomes a workshop. I'm also planning a visit to my family since they are having an auction for an Aunt's possessions who has dementia. Maybe get something from my great grandparents. We've got a lot of appointments atm. Need to make room for a blown up mattress

Granny is there any way you can make Robert understand that it is NEVER okay for him to hit you? Would he understand if you told him that if he does it again you will call the police and he could go to jail? He is a big man and you have health issues that make you vulnerable. He could do you a serious injury. He says you don't love him. Explain to him that if he loves you he would not hit you. Ever.

No, Tom cant spend that much time out and I don't want to. We canceled today. Try tomorrow but it will be 2 days w/o a water pill for him.

It was a big argument He called me the C word. He really lost his temper when I told him I didn't like the way he was treating me. I fell asleep with an unlit smoke in my mouth and the lighter in my hand. He smacked it while it was in my mouth til it broke.

I don't think he considers what happened as hitting me. Not sure if I do either but it was crossing the line

He's with Kevin. Stuff just don't fit in his jeep.

He said I don't love him and I never have. I tell him that's just not true and he said I didn't stick up for him when mom was here or Toms DD when they got into an argument. I have heard this many times.

Do you think the change of having someone come into your home to help has been difficult for Robert? People with autism just aren't all alike.
