Granny's gone and done it again

I had only one chick hatch. I had her in a brooder on the floor in my office. My husband let him he door open. I think my mother dog ate the chick. No sign of her anywhere.

Im doing something I think I shouldnt be doing. Im worried about it.
4 eggs left outside and abandoned . 5th one pipped and froze. Yes, its dead. I warmed it up to make sure. LOL (freaky stuff) Anyway the other 4 are alive and one ready to pip. I dont have a broody hen now so they are in the bator. 3 small enough to lay on the side of the turner but the one ready to hatch is not. I put it in the turner and I have NO plans to increase humidity. I dont want them messing up my hatch and I am afraid they will. I dont know what else to do..

Should be fine. My best hatch was when I wasn home to lockdown. Eggs still in turner. No high humidity

ya I do too. I have that old stryo that peeks at 2 weeks. I will go pull it out and set it up.

Not sure what possessed Jasper to go in, but he was frantic that he couldn't get out!

DD came in screaming "Jasper's in the banty coop!!" I'm just glad they aren't dead.

granny is eastern, twist is same time as you. I am pacific, so almost 10am here.

I thought maybe you were outside away form a clock. But then I guess your phone would tell you the time. yeah, right... still not enough sleep...
