We are about half way done with the cold frame for the banana trees. Building it big enough for another couple years of growth. Stopped long enough for a bowl of chili. It's 78° here and partly cloudy. Gentle breeze.

You're getting the weather we had yesterday. Quite a turn around today. About 48 right now, may get up to 50.

60° here right now. Our highs are going to be in the 40s by the weekend, I believe. Brr. Got to clean out the wood stove so we can start with fresh fires. But not today. Have a squirrelly tummy again today. Wish I knew what's causing this.

Our lows will be below freezing by the weekend with highs in the 40's or low 50's. Having to recharge a battery before I can finish up the frame around the banana trees. 75% done now. We will have an hour and a half of daylight once this battery charges. The spare battery was by the charger but never got put on it to charge. Guess I really needed a break from the heavy lifting and pushing on the impact driver putting in 4" screws in PT wood.

It's still 77° here now and should hit 70° tomorrow after morning showers. I must get this done by Wednesday. Usually all the leaves get burnt off from freezes here but this year I want to keep them so they will grow more next year.

Its supposed to turn pretty cold here too. Sucks. At least the grass isn't growing. hahah
It hard to put 4in. screws in anything. Takes a pretty powerful drill.

My SIL has banana plants, they might be in pots. Every year they put them outside and they grow enormous. I'm not sure if they cut them back every year or take them inside. Maybe both.
