Granny's gone and done it again

I have an 8' stick I carry when round up chickens. They get the message after a few gentle taps on the bum.
I had my cane with me and was using it that way but this hen was ignoring it. GC had Ryder on leash and the hen could see him and just was not about to go through the gate, I think she thought the dog was too close to the gate. I was about to holler to GC to back off a bit when Sammy lunged at the hen, and BLOOOP! In she went! 🤣

my girls are spoiled I pick them up and put them in the coop lol. most of the time though they follow me in
Mine put themselves to bed in the coop at bedtime, but at this particular time they were still in the run. But this hen had escaped. I had to get her back in the run. But you know how chickens are, they can fly over the fence to get out, but it's a one-way fence! They can't fly BACK over the fence to get back in! :lau
