Granny's gone and done it again

I got ours on Amazon but Walmart has several different varieties under 10 dollars a package.

Would you like for me to send you a few? We have plenty.
That's very kind. Thank you but no, I will buy some. Cost of shipping is out of this world now.

Yes I still have it. Probably will sell it as help for processing is very hard to find and with both of us having worsening arthritis in hands and fingers we've decided to just buy whole chickens or leg quarters when on sale.
Does my hands/wrist the same way.

No medicaid. We both get SSI plus I get a small monthly pension. I doubt we would qualify.
everyone here gets some form of SS and 2 of them get Medicare. They still have Medicaid. You don't know if you don't apply. The worst that can happen is they say no

Granny may do what works best for her, but the insurance knows what they cover and do not cover. You have to understand what you are covered for. Insurance, when it includes both Medicare and Medicaid can get very complicated.

Once you understand what you are covered for, then you can go from there. Drs and nurses have a lot on their hands without having to understand everyone's insurance. That is why the insurance does a lot of 3-way calling. They have you and the Drs office on the call at the same time.
I was blessed not having my husband in a facility. I went ahead with hospice, we were close to admitting him but it didn't happen..I'll tell you what, if we had decided to put him in a place, I would have been on the phone with insurance, drs, and also...patients and patient's family to get an idea as to how things were handled. If they were happy.
I'm thinking phone calls at this time with insurance is a great idea. Also Drs that are working with him. You start talking with the drs, you will be surprised at info they can give you about certain insurances. I found that out with my Lisa that was in different homes. Also, with some of my own. In fact this last visit in the emergency clinic the Dr I saw talked with me about which insurance of mine would or wouldn't cover the mediation he prescribed.

Uggh. That time of day. Silly cats are staring at me again.

Night all. Hope you are able to rest, Granny. You know, you could always try splitting those Flexeril in half. I take them too for muscle spasms but just at night so I can sleep.
I did! and a lousy 2.5 mg. knocked me on my butt. LOL Sleep well
