I found some divided containers with tight fitting lids at Dollar Tree package of 2 for $1.25. They are deep enough to hold a good serving and more sturdy than the trays frozen dinners come on. I bought several.

Howdy folks.

I think we have gone about 7 days without seeing the sun there. Temps are in the upper 40s and there is so much fog that we are starting to think we are in England. At least no snow yet, and for that we are truly grateful!

Have you guys ever heard of not being able to find a death notice or obituary on a person? Reason I ask is that we have been trying to find one for my DH's friend who passed and cannot find one anywhere. Wrote to his family and asked them but haven't heard back yet. Hard getting them to respond to anything. Of course a lot of news papers charge to print obituaries but have they stopped printing death notices also?

Did you try the funeral parlor for the obituary?

My pleasure. Don't beat yourself up, Lord knows a person is under enough stress at the time.

My mom used to set at night and read the paper. She would look at the obituaries and say that she was in the clear, her name wasn't in the death notices yet. The night her death notice was in the paper, I was laughing through tears when I said, well, mom, you made it. Here's your name in the death notices.

I found my name in the obituaries one day. Lady even had a son named Robert!

You could probably ask your dr to order the test but he probably wouldn’t want to do it.

Maybe you forgot he had a test done. Check with his doctor for medical records.

I do think about them and when the containers start to show wear I dispose of them. I use glass to store larger quantities in the freezer.

He hasn't had any brain scans or lumbar punctures or even seen a nuro.

Morning all, up at 5 again but forced myself back to sleep for a little while. That's not easy.
Sitting here wondering what I should do today. Go see Tom (I should) or wait another day because I have to go to the bank tomorrow and the boys will have the van Tuesday. Confusing so far.
I know one thing I should of done, Get my upper and lower GI while he was in there. I doubt there's enough time now and I cant leave him alone and will need a driver. Same thing for the blockages in my legs.

Good Morning Granny Land. Tired of coughing still. I've completed all of the meds for pneumonia and strep.

Granny some of the tests that get ran for dementia can only be run by removing the brain. For the sake of my brothers two sons my SIL had the test ran on him. It was positive for multiple dementia types including Alzheimer. I always thought I would be the one to lose my mind so to speak. I do remember the adults talking about people who lost their minds and went crazy as they described dementia when I was in early elementary grades. Dementia is such a terrible disease as l have never heard of anyone being medically cured. I've had relatives ask me over and over again the same question when they hadn't seen me in awhile and thought they were just catching up on any family news.
